C43 – Specialty Lines
In this course, we discuss many of the more important specialized types of insurance mentioned only briefly, if at all, in other courses. These include glass insurance, boiler and machinery insurance, aviation insurance and travel health insurance. You should find for each a broad overview of its development, the exposures it addresses, the forms used and the losses they cover and exclude, and some comment on current underwriting, rating, and claims-handling practices.
This course will be helpful to underwriters, agency or brokerage staff, and adjusters.
